First came a sampler keyboard in the form of a Casio SK1, in 1982, and Roland TR606 at the age of 6 yrs. From here Danny’s love with electronic music production began.
Danny has been a working and touring Dj and music producer since 1995 when he moved to London to take up a residency in at a club called Exposure supporting Fat Cat records artists and DJ’s.
More recently, Danny is known for his work over the years putting on the warehouse parties on in East London and his work for Late night audio Recordings.
Late Night Audio now a well respected underground electronic label is ran by Danny with label parter Toby Tobias.
LNA came together as an idea in 2005 as both artists shared a common interest in disco and house music that took the form of late night deep and emotive grooves.
A club night was born with a simple ethos of showcasing some of the worlds best underground up and coming artists.
Artists and groups performed such as Motor City Drum Ensemble, Mark E, Mark Seven, Cosmo Vitelli, Radio Slave, Loud- E, John Daily, Mock And Toof, Horse Meat Disco, Disco Bloodbath, Bad Passion, DFA records and many many other DJ luminaries.
The LNA parties built up a loyal following over a 5 year period and the record label was born.
First release on Late Night Audio was a hit from home grown artist DAS VOLT and mix’s from Fabrizio Mamarella and Toby Tobias.
Next came LNA 002 with Toby’s E.P : Macasu feat. remix from Motor City Drum Ensemble – a total sell out with much demand from the licensing world.
Future releases on LNA recordings include work from Jovonn, Mark E, Das Volt, Two Armadillos and the newly formed Mankind project.
With a solid release schedule for 2011 LNA is developing weekly content for the blog and pod casts available exclusively as part of collectable T-shirt / Sweat Shirt range to support the 12″ releases and parties.
Lots to come from Danny in the studio and the LNA artist portfolio for 2011.
